For the third year in a row, Tourbeau Sports Group will be the exclusive sports media production provider of the 2011 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championships in Orange Beach, Alabama.
An agreement starting back in 2009 in Fresno, California, TSG has been committed to the development of the NAIA as an organization, NAIA Soccer itself and the several different event hosts and organizations who have worked alongside them along the way.
"We are absolutely thrilled to partner with the Alabama Gulf Shores Sports Commission once again," exclaimed president of Tourbeau Sports, Chase Neidig. "We are also honored to work with the NAIA in yet another national championship event setting, and we are always looking for ways to extend the relationship with other sports and sites as well."
Soccer specifically hits home to Tourbeau Sports Group. TSG is an innovative sports development company who originally began its focus in the sport of soccer only. With its connections to the professional and collegiate soccer markets, TSG has worked with some of the top in the industry in a variety of capacities including: MLS, USL, US Soccer Federation, CONCACAF, NCAA, and dozens of universities and colleges nationwide.
Not only is Tourbeau Sports going to be facilitating the media services for the week of the national championship, but it will also be conducting the first-ever "Tourbeau College Soccer Showcase" at the same facility the following week. The showcase offers top NAIA men's soccer players the opportunity to train, learn, talk and compete in a week-long "combine" environment in front of the top professional clubs in the world. The committed number of clubs has continually increased over the past several months, and will continue to do so as the showcase approaches in mid-December.
TSG president Chase Neidig and his staff have worked over 15 months on initial preparations and communication with professional teams, event hosts, local and national sponsors, collegiate coaches and many others to make the showcase a reality. "This showcase is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Never before has an event of this magntitude taken place that will ensure each player (specifically NAIA and NCAA Div II/III) the atmosphere to be exposed and seen in the proper light."
The Tourbeau Sports Group staff will spend nearly 2.5 weeks in the gulf shores area during the month of December- "setting up shop"- all focused around the game of soccer. For more information on the showcase and how to sign-up, click here.
